We have to confess. We’re LOUSY at sneak peeks. Supposed to be four or five images, eh? But no – we have way too many beautiful shots to limit a sneak peek to FIVE images! So think of this as K & S, Part I (or an extra-sized sneak peek!).

What an absolutely fab event. Lots of little things during the day that didn’t go as planned, but this was by far one of the most thoughtful, detail-rich, truly beautiful days we’ve ever captured.

Enjoy! (and watch for more to come!)

This is Part II of the very fun & bright yogurt shop bridal session we posted two weeks ago as a “sneak peek.” When we originally asked our lovely Weddingbee bride what type of bridal session she’d like – what feeling did she want it to have – she told us “rustic.” Even though (at least for part of it) we ended up in a modern, bright yogurt shop, we had to come up with something wonderful and “rustic.”

The problem was it had rained almost all week! All the wonderfully rustic, remote places were muddy, wet and not somewhere you want your soon-to-be wed bride trekking in her pristine dress! So, we got creative. We found some local spots that did require a bit of trekking (I love a bride who doesn’t mind tennis shoes when it’s necessary!) but we managed to get a little rustic flavor and still not trash the dress! And K. was fabulous – so easy to work with – even though we’re fairly sure that at least once or twice she was thinking “you want me to do WHAT?”

Here are a few of the “other side” of this bridal session. Isn’t she gorgeous??! And both bouquets that Kristin from Haute Floral did (both edible and not) were simply marveous.

Here’s a sneak peek from a recent bridal session from our very own Wedding Bee bride, Miss Frozen Yogurt! We zipped around to several locations, including a totally fun yogurt shop (J’Adore in Frisco) and some rustic (but extremely soggy) areas in Collin County. Just a few to tease – watch for the rest in a few weeks! Mr. Frozen Yogurt – no peeking!

    First, the fun:

Love these to-die-for vibrant blue Manolos!!!

Look at this fabulous, yogurt-topping-inspire bouquet specially-designed by Haute Floral for Miss Frozen Yogurt. Have you ever seen anything so cute???

And now the rustic meets romantic (meets soggy!):

Boy meets Girl. In Prague. Boy lives in England. Girl lives in Texas. That’s the story we heard when we met with this wonderful bride the first time. She and her mom sat down with us (amid amateur talent night at a local coffeehouse and teenagers with squealing guitars!) and we were amazed. Their story was straight from a movie. Groom is moving from England to marry the girl of his dreams. A fairytale, yes? When the groom finally arrived and we shot their engagement session, we completely understood why there would be a happy ending! This couple is perfect for each other! And every fairytale deserves a wedding like they had at the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Grapevine (where rain or shine, hot or cold, it’s always a beautiful 72 degree day!). Every aspect of their wedding was simply amazing. And best of all, this was a crowd who knew how to have fun (as I’m sure you’ll be able to tell from their pictures!).

Love, love, love the pear green and hot pink combination for the decor from HauteFloral.

We have no idea what the guys were doing. But we were told it was something they did back home (in England). And they did it a lot. On the dance floor. Often.

Now that their big day is over, we can officially unveil Lauren’s amazing bridal session at the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Grapevine. Her dress (an amazing find at Stardust Celebrations!) looked FABULOUS and was perfect for her. And dig those hot pink sassy shoes! At the end of the session, Lauren (whose dear husband is a firefighter) wanted to do something fun with his fireman’s gear as a special surprise for the groom. How cute is that?? (If only we could have nabbed a firetruck!) More pictures coming soon of their amazing wedding.

Okay. gotta admit. Sometimes I get the “crafty” bug. I think most of our brides do at some point during their planning process. But rarely do I find the level of inspiration I require to make something really cool and unique (without a trek through Anthropologie, I mean!). But I think this new wedding DIY blogzine, Nonpareil, has finally found a way to fill that niche. Not only do the vintage-inspired creations make you want to grab a glue gun, but they give you the step-by-step “how to’s” to get the job done! Check out that fabulous wedding table centerpiece in the first pic below – made for under $32! And the DIY fascinator is a fabulous find for brides who want something a little “different” and vintage for their wedding style. Check out the downloads on their site for some of their wedding invitation templates. Their first issue just went up and we’re already looking forward to No. 2!

We love this couple. Absolutely LOVE them. Through two engagement sessions, one bridal session and a luxury wedding extravaganza, we feel like we’re part of their family. So, when S & P had the perfect outdoor wedding planned at the Dallas Arboretum and the weather decided not to cooperate, we decided to recreate what “should” have been and do a fabulous Day After Session (on a beautiful SUNNY December day). What a great guy P was to get dressed up all over again and give his bride the wedding portraits she wanted. Here is a sneak peek from that session.

M and J had an unusual situation. M had wanted the wedding of her dreams, but J was being deployed. So, they went ahead and did a civil ceremony before the groom left, then planned for the real event for 2009. While he was away, making our country proud, M did a fabulous job planning their big day. The wedding and reception was held at Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine, Texas — our new favorite wedding spot. Not only was it a gorgeous location, but the food was absolutely amazing! The staff was phenomenal to work with (thank you, Otto!) and we give absolutely loved being there.

M is an accomplished graphic artist and dreamed up using the NATO phonetic alphabet code words for the guest table signs (because of J’s military connection)!

    Beautiful day, beautiful couple.

M had a lot of fun revealing herself to J. And they had plenty of time to take portraits before the wedding in beautiful light.

The end of a perfect day and they can still pull off a perfect dip!

What a wonderful event at Cowboys Golf Club! And we wish you two the best of happiness!
